"Hi! I was wondering what the diversity at Queen's is like. I'm on a quest to find a post-secondary institution and Diversity is incredibly important to me. I'm African-American."

To be honest the Queen’s student community is not so diverse. Some may argue this is a generalization but in my opinion we’re a predominately white anglo-saxon post secondary school with few minorities. However having said that, I find Queen’s students to be pretty accepting of various groups/organizations. There’s virtually a club for everyone, it’s just up to you to seek them out!

But, if diversity is one of your top priorities in choosing a university I would recommend choosing a school in Toronto.

Hope that helped a bit… Cheers!
